Durch die innovative Methode der Holzmodifizierung rückt Buchenholz von der schlechtesten Dauerhaftigkeitsklasse V in die Klassen I und I vor. Damit weist es eine Witterungsfestigkeit und Schädlingsresistenz auf, die es erlauben, auch Saunastühle - hier das Modell "Sifas" der Firma Becker KG, Brakel - aus dem einst als anfällig verpönten Buchenholz herzustellen.
