Am 11. August um 12:31.11 Uhr ist es in Kaiserslautern soweit: Der Mond verdeckt für gerade einmal 55 Sekunden die Sonne. Physiker der Universität Kaiserslautern beantworten am 9. und 10. August Fragen zur "kürzesten Nacht des Jahrhunderts".
Zwischen 10 und 12 Uhr stehen Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Demtröder und seine Mitarbeiter naturwissenschaftlich Interessierten unter der Telefonnummer 0631/205-2692 Rede und Antwort. Ob das "Jahrhundertereignis" am Boden überhaupt sichtbar ist oder ob am Mittwoch dichte Wolken den Blick auf die Sonnenfinsternis verwehren, können jedoch auch die Forscher noch nicht mit letzter Sicherheit beantworten.
