Zur Antrittsvorlesung von Prof. Dr. Dr. med. habil Michael Beil lädt der Fachbereich Informatik/ Elektrotechnik/ Maschinenbau der Fachhochschule Lausitz am Montag, dem 16. Januar 2006, in das Medienzentrum "Konrad Zuse" am Studienort Senftenberg ein.
Der zum Professor für Medizinische Informationssysteme im Studiengang Informatik ernannte Facharzt für Innere Medizin spricht um 16:15 Uhr im Hörsaal 11.301 zum Thema "Quantitative Methoden in der Onkologie".
Prof. Beil ist Gastwissenschaftler in der Abteilung Innere Medizin I der Universität Ulm und kann ebenso auf Leitungserfahrungen in der Wirtschaft verweisen, so unter anderem als Entwicklungsleiter "Analysesysteme" bei der Imagenium AG Paris.
Im Jahre 1994 wurde er mit dem Robert-Koch-Preis der Humboldt-Universität Berlin ausgezeichnet.
