ITWM-Trier auf der Innova 1997 in Pirmasens
TEAM: Ein Pilotprojekt zur Intranet-basierten Groupware
Zur INNOVA 1997, der rheinland-pfaelzischen Fachausstellung fuer Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik in Pirmasens vom 19. bis 22. Juni 1997, praesentiert das von der Fraunhofer Management Gesellschaft betreute ITWM-Trier das Exponat TEAM. TEAM als Pilotprojekt Intranet-basierter Groupware verbindet Terminplanung, Managementfunktionen und Authentifizierung mit Hilfe von Standardapplikationen des WWW. Am Beispiel einer komplexen Termin- und Aufgabenplanung demonstriert TEAM eine, insbesondere fuer den Mittelstand, effiziente Loesung betriebsinterner Kommunikation im Rahmen einer Intranet-Konzeption: Termine und Aufgaben, Projekte und Mitarbeiter werden einander zugeordnet, Zugriffe durch Authentifizierung des Benutzers geregelt, sensible Daten verschluesselt. Dies alles wird mit Standardkomponenten erreicht, ein Standard Web Browser greift auf alle Funktionen zu. In einer weiteren Ausbaustufe sollen komplexere Workflows in TEAM integriert werden.
