Es stimmt, das im vergangenen Jahr beim ersten Informationstag des jungen Studiengangs Logistik sich die Mehrzahl der Teilnehmenden auch zum Studienbeginn entschlossen hat. Das muß nicht so sein. Kann aber.
Beim jetzt für den 19. Mai geplanten 2. Informationstag für Schülerinnen und Schüler der schulischen Abschlußklassen steht das Informieren und Nachfragen im Vordergrund. Niemand muß an diesem Tag schon seine Entscheidung treffen. Iwo Riha von der studentischen Fachschaft Logistik ist aber sicher, dass eine Entscheidung nach dem Vier-Stunden-Programm des Studiengangs leichter gefällt werden kann als vorher. Immerhin ist das Berufsfeld noch neu. Und immerhin kann das Uni-Diplom des Diplom-Logistikers oder der Diplom-Logistikerin nur an der Universität Dortmund erworben werden.
Das Programm beginnt um 10:00 Uhr am eng mit der Universität Dortmund verbundenen Fraunhofer-Institut für Materialfluss und Logistik. Bis 16:00 Uhr geht es um die Ausbildung und Berufsperspektiven für Logistiker. Am Ende werden auch Labors des Instituts sowie des Fachgebiets Logistik an der Fakultät Maschinenbau besichtigt.
