Am 21. und 22. September 2000 findet ein europaweit ausgerichteter Technologietransfertag zum Thema NanoBioTechnologie in Saarbrücken im Haus der Saarwirtschaft statt.
Thematische Schwerpunkte der Veranstaltung werden nanobiotechnologische Innovationen für die Lebensmittel-, die Textilindustrie und die Biomedizin sein.
Neue Technologien sowie neue Anwendungsfelder werden präsentiert.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen z.B.
-Online Prozeßkontrolle mit Biosensoren zur Detektion während Produktion, Verpackung und Lagerung
-Selbstklimatisierende Stoffe
-Neue Materialien zur Applikation von pharmazeutisch aktiven Substanzen
-Biozide Oberflächen zur Verhinderung mikrobieller Kontamination.
In einem im Vorfeld zusammengestellten Katalog werden Technologieangebote und -nachfragen der Teilnehmer zum Thema zusammengestellt und an interessierte Unternehmen und Institute in ganz Europa gesendet. Basierend auf diesem Katalog werden Kontaktgespräche zwischen den Interessierten und den Teilehmern arrangiert.
Am 22. September präsentieren speziell Institute der Universität des Saarlandes ihre Neuentwicklungen auf dem interdisziplinären Forschungsgebiet der Nanobiotechnologie. Nachmittags finden Institutsbesuche auf dem Saarbrücker Campus statt.
Vertreter aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft aus ganz Europa aus den Branchen Biotechnologie, Nanotechnologie, Medizintechnik, Pharmazie, Lebensmittel, Textil und Oberflächenbearbeitung werden erwartet.
Deadline für die Einreichung von Katalogbeiträgen ist der 21. Juli 2000.

Die Teilnahmegebühren pro Teilnehmer betragen 200,-DM.
