Das John-F.-Kennedy-Institut für Nordamerikastudien der Freien Universität Berlin startet mit einem international besetzten Forschungscolloquium ins Sommersemester. Den Eröffnungsvortrag der Reihe "Perspectives on American Literature and Culture" hält am Donnerstag, 24. April 2008, 18 Uhr, Professor Ruth Leys, Johns Hopkins University, die sich zurzeit am Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin aufhält. Das Colloquium findet - mit zwei Ausnahmen - jeweils donnerstags, 18 Uhr, Raum 201, Lansstraße 7-9, in Berlin-Dahlem (U-Bahnhof Thielplatz) statt. Die Veranstaltung ist öffentlich, Interessierte sind herzlich eingeladen.
