Erstmals wird die Fakultät für Chemie und Pharmazie der Universität Würzburg einen von der Procter & Gamble Service GmbH (Schwalbach) gestifteten Förderpreis vergeben.
Damit sollen besondere Forschungsleistungen von Studierenden im Diplom- und Promotionsstudiengang Chemie anerkannt werden. Der "Procter & Gamble-Förderpreis 2000" ist mit 1.000 Mark dotiert und wird am Freitag, 17. November, um 17.15 Uhr im Hörsaal B des Zentralgebäudes Chemie am Hubland vom Dekan der Fakultät, Prof. Dr. Reinhold Tacke, überreicht.
Anschließend spricht Prof. Dr. Ernst Bayer von der Universität Tübingen über die "Koordinations-Ionenspray-Massenspektrometrie (CIS-MS) - eine neue Methode zur Strukturaufklärung". Sein Referat findet im Rahmen der öffentlichen Vortragsreihe der Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker statt.
