Politikwissenschaftlerin der Freien Universität Berlin zur Leiterin des "New Century Scholars Program" 2008/2009 ernannt
Miranda Schreurs, Professorin für Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft und Leiterin der Forschungsstelle für Umweltpolitik der Freien Universität Berlin, ist zur Leiterin des "New Century Scholars Program" 2008/2009 ernannt worden. Das Programm mit dem Titel "The University as Innovation Driver and Knowledge Center" bringt zwischen Mai 2009 und April 2010 etwa 30 Wissenschaftler aus verschiedenen Ländern zusammen, die zu Themen von globaler Bedeutung interdisziplinär arbeiten.
Die Bewerbungsfrist für das "New Century Scholars Program", das zum sechsten Mal stattfindet, endet am 15. November 2008.
