Aufschluss über neue Trends und Technologien im Bereich der raumbezogenen Informationstechnologien gibt das 7. Internationale Anwenderforum Geo-Informationssysteme vom 7. bis 8. März an der Mercator-Universität Duisburg.
Navigationssysteme, integrierte Katasterauskunft oder Infrastrukturatlas: Raumbezogene Informationstechnologie hat ein breites Einsatzfeld. Aufschluss über neue Trends und Technologien gibt das 7. Internationale Anwenderforum Geo-Informationssysteme vom 7. bis 8. März an der Mercator-Universität Duisburg. Mitveranstalter sind die Stadt Duisburg, die Akademie für Wissenschaft und Technik an der Universität Duisburg sowie SICAD Geomatics.
Das Forum richtet sich in erster Linie an Anwender, Entwickler, IT-Experten und Systemadministratoren, die sich mit Herstellern, Beratern und Wissenschaftler austauschen möchten. Auf dem Programm stehen 35 Hauptvorträge, Podiumsdiskussionen sowie eine Ausstellung mit Präsentationen "aus der GIS-Welt". Schwerpunkte der Vortragsreihen sind: Mobile Lösungen und Services, neue Technologien sowie Geoinfosysteme in Kommunen, im Landmanagement und für Versorgungsdienstleister.
