Fortbildungsseminar
Neue und aktuelle Informationen auf dem Gebiet der Materialkunde ist durch den Einsatz von Datenbanken zeitsparend und damit auch kostensparend möglich. STN International bietet eine Reihe von Datenbanken an, in denen Hinweise auf weltweite Literatur und Patente und auch Fakteninformationen enthalten sind. Insgesamt sind über 200 Datenbanken aus Wissenschaft und Technik verfügbar.
Das Praktikum gibt eine Einführung in:
* Literaturdatenbanken,
* Patentdatenbanken (weltweit),
* Fakten- und Numerischen Datenbanken
Das Fortbildungsseminar steht unter der fachlichen Leitung von Dr. Claus-Dieter Siems, Fachinformationszentrum Karlsruhe.
