Zu diesem Thema findet am 4. November 2011 am Campus Salzgitter der Ostfalia Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften eine Fachtagung statt, die von Studierenden des 5. Semesters im Studiengang „Stadt- und Regionalmanagement“ organisiert wird. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, ein Diskussionsforum zu schaffen, um sich mit Experten aus Praxis, Verwaltung und Wissenschaft auszutauschen.
