Das aus dem Fraunhofer-Institut für Integrierte Publikations- und Informationssysteme (IPSI) in Darmstadt hervorgegangene Unternehmen Globit - Globale Informationstechnik GmbH, ebenfalls Darmstadt, ist an die Firma CPO Hanser Service GmbH - Agentur für Veranstaltungen, Events, Incentives mit Sitz in Hamburg verkauft worden. Das Personal sowie die Geschäftsräume und Ausstattung von Globit wurden vollständig übernommen. Die Tätigkeit der Globit GmbH wird zukünftig noch stärker als zuvor mit der Tätigkeit des neuen Eigentümers verknüpft. CPO Hanser war schon seit längerem einer der wichtigsten Kunden von Globit und nutzt die von Globit entwickelten Messe- und Kongress-Informationssysteme.
