    The Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering IBMT presents its full range of sonar and sensor carrier technologies at the Oceanology International 2016. As a developer of customized special solutions from sensor via electronics to software and technology development, we offer solutions from the idea to the market and into the application. At the Oceanology International 2016, we present especially our compact Multibeam Echosounder (MBES) developed for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and for the first time a fully equipped 2D matrix antenna with 1024 transducer elements for volumetric sonar data acquisition.
