Internationale Fachkonferenz „Higher Education“ der European Association of Learning and Instruction (EARLI) an der Universität Gießen
Trends der Hochschulforschung und der empirischen Bildungsforschung stehen im Mittelpunkt der internationalen Fachkonferenz „Higher Education“ der European Association of Learning and Instruction (EARLI) vom 29. bis 31. August 2018 an der Justus-Liebig Universität Gießen (JLU). Ausgerichtet wird die Tagung in englischer Sprache von der Professur für Hochschuldidaktik mit dem Schwerpunkt Lehrerbildung an der JLU und der Koordination der EARLI-Special-Interest-Group 4 (SIG 4). Im Fokus stehen insbesondere ein evidenzbasiertes Hochschulmanagement und methodologische Verfahren im Forschungsprozess.
Zu den drei Hauptvorträgen ist die interessierte Öffentlichkeit herzlich eingeladen. Prof.Dr. Ada Pellert, Rektorin der FernUniversität Hagen, spricht am Mittwoch, 29. August 2018, um 9.30 Uhr über „Higher education management: between theory and practice”. Am Donnerstag, 30. August 2018, um 14 Uhr referiert Prof. Dr. Sari Lindblom, University of Helsinki (Finnland), über das Thema „Factors explaining study progress and success in Bachelor and Master programmes”. Prof. Dr. Jan Hense, Professur für Hochschuldidaktik und Evaluation an der JLU, hält am Freitag, 31. August 2018, um 11 Uhr einen Vortrag mit dem Titel „Flat earth or round globe: How topographies shape our understanding of Higher Education Research”. Die Vorträge finden in der Alten Universitätsbibliothek statt (Raum AUB1, Bismarckstraße 37, 35390 Gießen), der Eintritt ist frei.
