Das Biotechnik-Zentrum der TU Darmstadt zeigt in Kooperation mit der IHK Darmstadt und dem Landesmuseum für Technik und Arbeit Mannheim die Ausstellung "Bionik - Zukunfts-Technik lernt von der Natur". In zahlreichen Exponaten und Objekten zum Anfassen und Staunen wird rund um die Bionik informiert.
Die Ausstellung ist im Gebäude der IHK Darmstadt, Rheinstraße 89, ab Samstag, den 13. Dezember 2003, bis zum 18. Februar 2004 täglich von 10.00 bis 18.00 Uhr zu sehen (mittwochs bis 20.00 Uhr, am 31. und 24.12. ist die Ausstellung geschlossen). Vorträge und Führungen vervollständigen das Angebot.
Die Präsentation steht unter der Schirmherrschaft des hessischen Ministerpräsidenten Roland Koch und findet im Rahmen des vom BMBF ausgerufenen "Jahr der Technik" 2004 statt. Der Eintritt beträgt vier Euro, ermäßigt zwei Euro, Familien zahlen acht Euro.
