A wide range of offers prepares students and refugees interested in studying for a successful degree and a start to their careers.

HU is offering four preparatory online language courses for people with a refugee background in the summer semester of 2021 at B2 and C1 levels. Classes take place Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Applications for the language courses can be submitted from February 8th until February 22nd 2021, using the form on the university homepage: https://hu.berlin/integrasprachkurse.

Refugees who are interested in studying at HU can also take part in HU courses as guest auditors. Registration is possible at any time.

For prospective students there is an online consultation hour for refugees in German, Arabic and English every Tuesday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The office hours can be accessed via our website: https://hu.berlin/integra_sprechstunde.
    Registration is not required.

During the 2021 summer semester, HU is offering refugees and international students one and two-day online workshops on the labour market in Germany, as well as on career entry and orientation. All information and current dates are listed on our homepage: https://hu.berlin/integraworkshops.

Voluntary student initiatives provide support services for refugees at the various HU faculties: https://hu.berlin/refugeeswelcome.

All offers for refugees at HU are provided free of charge.

Since the 2015/16 winter semester, HU offers for refugees have been funded by the DAAD funding programs, “INTEGRA” and “Welcome”. Since then, over 1000 refugees interested in studying have attended INTEGRA language courses and workshops at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and / or have participated in lectures as guest auditors.
