Public health research and data sharing: How can a joint EHDS drive innovation?

    Für ein zukunftsfähiges Gesundheitswesen sind Digitalisierung und Vernetzung von Daten notwendig. Wie der Europäische Gesundheitsdatenraum (EHDS) Innovation und medizinischen Fortschritt fördern soll, wird am 24.6. interdisziplinär mit Experten diskutiert.

    Digitalisierung und Vernetzung von Gesundheitsdaten wirken als Innovationstreiber an der Schnittstelle von Routineversorgung und Forschung.

    Die Schaffung eines gemeinsamen Europäischen Gesundheitsdatenraums ist eine der Prioritäten der EU-Kommission. Wesentlicher Erfolgsfaktor ist hierbei die Bereitschaft zum Austausch und die Vernetzung von Gesundheitsdaten auch über Ländergrenzen hinweg, um den medizinischen Fortschritt und Innovation zu beschleunigen. Mit verlässlichen Rahmenbedingungen für nachhaltige, interoperable Daten-Ökosysteme gelingt es, die Voraussetzungen für eine personalisierte Gesundheitsversorgung zu erfüllen.

    Experten deutscher und europäischer Initiativen präsentieren anhand ihrer Erfahrungen die Aspekte einer „digitalen Medizin“ und diskutieren, wie eine digitale Transformation ausgerichtet sein muss, um sowohl eine patientenorientierte als auch wissensgenerierende Gesundheitsversorgung zu erreichen.
