Mit dem Semestereröffnungsgottesdienst beginnt am Montag, 9. Oktober 2023, 18 Uhr, in der halleschen Marktkirche die neue Reihe der Universitätsgottesdienste der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (MLU). Sie steht im Wintersemester 2023/24 unter dem Titel "Mit Leib und Seele".
Die Reihe beginnt mit einer Predigt zum Thema "Seelensorge - Lebenssorge" (Matthäus 6, 25 - 34) von Universitätsprediger Prof. Dr. Friedemann Stengel. Zum Semestereröffnungsgottesdienst wird auch die neue Universitätsorganistin Prof. Anna-Victoria Baltrusch in ihr Amt eingeführt und erstmals die musikalische Gestaltung übernehmen. Unterstützt wird sie von Uta Gräber an der Trompete.
