At the University of Hohenheim, the two areas are linked by a common guiding theme: bioeconomy. Their goal is to create a sustainable concept for a future-proof economy that conserves energy and resources.
Research and teaching can only contribute to this if they take into account the interplay of economic, ecological, social, ethical, and legal aspects. This is how the University of Hohenheim is meeting the major challenges of our time such as climate change mitigation, food security, species protection, and the sustainable management of natural resources.
