12 % mehr Neueinschreibungen gegenüber dem Vorjahr
Die TU München verzeichnet im Wintersemester 2004/05, das heute den Vorlesungsbetrieb aufgenommen hat, den größten Zuwachs seit einem Jahrzehnt. Obwohl in 10 Studiengängen eine Eignungsfeststellung stattfand, haben sich ca. 5500 Erstsemester immatrikuliert, das sind rund 12 % mehr als im Vorjahr. Der Ausländeranteil ist um 21 % gestiegen. Besonderen Zuwachs verzeichnen die Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik (ca. 38 %), das Wissenschaftszentrum Weihenstephan (ca. 17 %) und der Maschinenbau (ca.16 %).
