An der Universität Passau findet vom 18. bis 20. November die 15. British and Cultural Studies Conference statt, die in diesem Jahr unter dem Motto "Medialised Britain" steht. Organisatoren der Veranstaltung sind der Lehrstuhl für Englische Literatur und Kultur (Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kamm) und die Professur für Anglistik unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Landeskunde/British Studies (Prof. Dr. Bernd Lenz). Die Tagung findet im Nikolakloster (Raum 403) statt.
