Gestern - kurz nach 18 Uhr - stand das Ergebnis fest: Der Senat der Fachhochschule Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel hat Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Wolf-Rüdiger Umbach einstimmig erneut zum Präsidenten gewählt. Die Wahl wurde vom Hochschulrat bestätigt. Damit beginnt für Umbach die dritte Amtszeit als Präsident. Die Hochschule ist mit rund 7 000 Studierenden in den Städten Wolfenbüttel, Braunschweig, Wolfsburg und Salzgitter vertreten. Die Amtszeit beginnt am 1. September 2005 und endet am 31. August 2013.
