46. Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Amerikastudien
Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Amerika-studien hält ihre 46. Jahrestagung zum Thema: "Turbulent Decade: The American Sixties and Their Legacy / Eine turbulente Dekade: Die 1960er Jahre in den USA und ihre Folgen" vom 25. bis 28. Mai 1999 an der Universität zu Köln ab. Die Tagung beginnt mit einer Eröffnungsveranstaltung
am Dienstag, dem 25.Mai 1999, um 17.00 Uhr
in der Aula der Universität, Hauptgebäude
Albertus-Magnus-Platz, 50931 Köln-Lindenthal.
Den Eröffnungsvortrag hält William H. Chafe, Professor an der Duke Universität und derzeitiger Vorsitzender der Organization of American Historians zum Thema "The 1960s: The Critical Decade for Postwar America".
