Vortragsveranstaltung am Campus Garching der TU München
Am Mittwoch, den 14. September 2005, veranstaltet das Graduiertenkolleg "Angewandte Algorithmische Mathematik" zusammen mit dem Elitestudiengang "TopMath" der Fakultät für Mathematik der TUM einen Vortragstag zum Thema "Mathematik und Politik". Im unmittelbaren Vorfeld der Bundestagswahl sprechen hier renommierte Professoren deutscher Hochschulen über Anwendungen spieltheoretischer Modelle, überraschende Eigenschaften von Machtindizes und die Wirkung der Demoskopie. Das Programm beginnt um 9:00 Uhr, Ende ist gegen 17:30 Uhr.
