Neu geschaffenem Gremium gehören 25 hochrangige Persönlichkeiten aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Wissenschaft aus allen Teilen der Welt an
Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Otto H. Jacobs, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls und Seminars für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Treuhandwesen und Betriebliche Steuerlehre II an der Universität Mannheim sowie Geschäftsführer der Mannheim Business School gGmbH, ist in das International Advisory Board der französischen Elite-Wirtschaftshochschule ESSEC (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) berufen worden.
Das neu geschaffene Gremium soll die ESSEC in ihrer strategischen Entwicklung beraten und begleiten. Ihm werden rund 25 hochrangige Persönlichkeiten aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Wissenschaft aus allen Teilen der Welt angehören. Weitere Mitglieder sind beispielsweise der frühere EU-Wettbewerbskommissar und jetzige Präsident der italienischen Wirtschaftshochschule SDA Bocconi, Mario Monti, oder der deutsch-französische Publizist und ehemalige Professor an der Pariser Sorbonne, Alfred Grosser. Für Jacobs ist es bereits die dritte Berufung in ein solches Gremium: Er gehört außerdem den International Advisory Boards der York University in Toronto und der Wirtschaftsuniversität Budapest an.
