Der Bayreuther Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Polymere Werkstoffe, Professor Dr.-Ing. Volker Altstädt, ist zum Sprecher des "Wissenschaftlichen Arbeitskreises Kunstofftechnik" (WAK) gewählt worden.
Bayreuth (UBT). Der Bayreuther Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Polymere Werkstoffe, Professor Dr.-Ing. Volker Altstädt, ist zum Sprecher des "Wissenschaftlichen Arbeitskreises Kunstofftechnik" (WAK) gewählt worden.
Der Arbeitskreis ist ein Zusammenschluss aus 25 Instituten und Lehrstühlen der Kunststofftechnik mit dem Ziel, die Kunststofftechnik auch in Zukunft als markanten Schwerpunkten der deutschen Ingenieurstätigkeit zu erhalten und zu entwickeln.
Zur Förderung junger Ingenieure schreibt der WAK für hervorragende wissenschaftliche Arbeiten jährlich den Wilfried Ensinger Preis, den Oechsler Preis und den Erwin Brunnhofer Preis für jeweils eine Diplomarbeit und eine Dissertation aus.
