Ab dem 2. Mai 2006 bietet die Universität Rostock Interessierten und Lehrenden in allen Berufsgruppen ein dreimonatiges Weiterbildungsmodul zum Einsatz neuer Medien in Lehr- und Lernprozessen an. Die neuen Medien bieten ein breites Spektrum an Möglichkeiten, um im Bildungsbereich erfolgreich tätig zu sein. Der effiziente und effektvolle Einsatz von multimedialen Mitteln ist ein karriererelevantes Qualifikationswissen, das für zukünftige Entwicklungen und Anforderungen auf dem Bildungsmarkt wappnet.
