"Der 7. Himmel - Wie macht das Gehirn die Liebe?" - Dieser Frage geht am Montag, den 27. November 2006, der renommierte Arzt und Psychiater Prof. Eckhart Rüther an der TU München auf den Grund. Der Vortrag im Rahmen der Vorlesungsreihe "Himmel - per aspera ad adstra" der Carl von Linde-Akademie der TU München (TUM) beginnt um 18.15 Uhr im Hörsaal 1.100 am Stammgelände der TUM, Arcisstraße 21, 80333 München. Der Eintritt ist frei.
Prof. Dr. med. Eckart Rüther studierte Psychologie, Philosophie und Psychiatrie in München und Montpellier. Nach der Dissertation in Medizin im Jahre 1966 und Jahren als Praktischer Arzt sowie wissenschaftlicher Assistent an der TU München sowie der Psychiatrischen Klinik der LMU München folgte 1985 die Habilitation für Psychiatrie. 1986 kam der Ruf auf den Lehrstuhl für Psychiatrie an der Universität Göttingen. Hier war Prof. Rüther bis zu seiner Emeritierung 2006 als Direktor der Klinik und Poliklinik für Psychiatrie sowie als Dekan der Medizinischen Fakultät tätig.
