Professor Lee Smolin, Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (Waterloo, Ontario), wird in diesem Jahr die Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker-Vorlesungen halten. Die Vorlesungen stehen unter dem Thema "In The Defense of Time". Der Eröffnungsvortrag zum Thema "The role of time in the completion of Einstein's revolution" findet statt

im Hauptgebäude der Universität Hamburg, Agathe Lasch-Hörsaal (Hörsaal B),

An den folgenden vier Tagen hält Lee Smolin im Physikalischen Institut, Jungiusstraße 9, jeweils einen weiteren Vortrag zu den folgenden Themen:
