Der Staatssekretär des Bundesministeriums für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit, Matthias Machnig, und der Präsident des Washingtoner Worldwatch-Instituts, Christopher Flavin, halten am Mittwoch, 22. Oktober 2008, öffentliche Vorträge an der Freien Universität Berlin. Im Mittelpunkt ihrer Vorträge auf der Veranstaltung "A Third Industrial Revolution" stehen Potenzial und Bedarf umweltrelevanter wirtschaftlicher und technologischer Innovationen. Die Vorträge sind öffentlich, der Eintritt ist frei.
