Fragen menschlicher Sprachverarbeitung stehen im Mittelpunkt einer Tagung, die vom 5. bis 6. Juli im Zentrum für interdisziplinäre Forschung (ZiF) der Universität Bielefeld stattfindet.
Die spezifischen sprachlichen Verarbeitungsprozesse sollen aus psycholinguistischer, neurolinguistischer und aus der Perspektive der Künstlichen Intelligenzforschung diskutiert werden. Als Basis dienen dabei Theorien und Methoden der Kognitionswissenschaft. Ergebnisse der experimentellen Psycholinguistik und Neurolinguistik werden ebenso Gegenstand der Diskussion sein wie Modellierungs- und Simulationsansätze der Künstlichen Intelligenz.
Geleitet wird die Tagung, an der Wissenschaftler aus den USA, England, Österreich und Deutschland teilnehmen, von dem Bielefelder Psycholinguisten Prof. Dr. Gert Rickheit und dem Psycholinguisten Prof. Dr. Anthony Sanford aus Glasgow.
