Wie hören und sehen Tiere und spüren sie Magnetfelder? Mit der sensorischen Biologie des Rotfuchses befasste sich jetzt Dr. E. Pascal Malkemper (30) aus der Arbeitsgruppe Allgemeine Zoologie der Universität Duisburg-Essen (UDE).
Für seine ausgezeichnete Arbeit wurde er kürzlich mit dem Fritz-Frank-Förderpreis 2015 der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Säugetierkunde (DGS) ausgezeichnet. Die mit 3.000 Euro dotierte Ehrung würdigt exzellente wissenschaftliche Leistungen junger Wissenschaftler unter 33 Jahre.
