Musik ist ihr Hobby: Acht Hochschullehrerinnen und Hochschullehrer aus unterschiedlichen Fachbereichen der Universität Dortmund spielen auf. Am 24. Juni, 20 Uhr, ist im Blauen Salon des Schulte Witten-Hauses in Dortmund-Dorstfeld ein besonderes Konzert.
Gemeinsam ist den Konzertierenden die Leidenschaft für Musik und die Tatsache, dass sie zum Beispiel in ihrer Freizeit Trio spielen, Gesangsunterricht nehmen oder alte Instrumente sammeln und es damit zu auftrittsreifen Leistungen bringen.
Mit einem bunten Programm, das von Praetorius bis Chopin reicht, stellen sich die ambitionierten HobbymusikerInnen - solistisch oder im Ensemble - der universitären Öffentlichkeit vor.
Es singen Prof. Dr. Claus Weihs vom Fachbereich Statistik (Tenor), Dr. Victoria Waltz vom Fachbereich Raumplanung (Sopran) und Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schünemann vom Fachbereich Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften (Bass).
Es spielen Prof. Dr. Ditmar Schmetz vom Fachbereich Rehabilitationswissenschaften (Dudelsäcke), Privatdozent Dr. Eugeny Kenig vom Fachbereich Chemietechnik (Violine) sowie die Statistiker Prof. Dr. em. Siegfried Schach (Klavier), Prof. Dr. em. Franz Hering (Traverso) und Dipl. stat. Uwe Ligges (Violine).
Die Initiatorin des Konzerts "Tritonus und Tangente. Profs auf dem Podium" ist Prof. Dr. Mechthild von Schönebeck. Die Wissenschaftlerin vom Institut für Musik und ihre Didaktik wird die Klavierbegleitung übernehmen und moderiert das Konzert.
Der Eintritt ist frei. Wegen der begrenzten Anzahl der Plätze im Blauen Salon wird eine namentliche Platzreservierung empfohlen.
