At Chemnitz University of Technology, research in the field of semiotics is conducted at the Chair of German Linguistics, Semiotics, and Multimodal Communication (Head: Prof. Dr. Ellen Fricke), among others. This year the congress is entitled: "Transformations - Signs and their Objects in Transition." The Chair of the German Society of Semiotics as well as editor of the Journal of Semiotics (http://www.semiotik.eu/journal-of-semiotics) is Prof. Dr. Ellen Fricke from Chemnitz University of Technology.

The regular participation fee is 35 euros, but student participation is free of charge. In addition to plenary and panel lectures, there will also be workshops.

The following internationally renowned researchers have been secured as keynote speakers:

    Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

    Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

    Phrases
