Blick nach Westen über das mittlere Kladeos-Tal und den Olympia vorgelagerten Hügelzug. Im Hintergrund links ist das schmale Alpheios-Tal zu erkennen sowie die Küste des Golfs von Kyparissia. Die Reste der antiken Kultstätte Olympia (links des linken Bildrandes) wurden im 6. Jh. n.Chr. durch tsunamigene Hochflutsedimente zerstört und unter mächtigen Ablagerungen verschüttet.
