Olli Rehn on "The End of the Euro Crisis?"

The Hertie School of Governance and the European Commission Representation in Germany cordially invite you to a talk by Olli Rehn, European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs on The End of the Euro Crisis? Assessing the state of affairs after the latest European Council.
Followed by a panel discussion with Steffen Kampeter (tbc) , parliamentary State Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance, and Mark Hallerberg, Director of the Fiscal Governance Centre, Hertie School of Governance.

Olli Rehn is the European Commissioner responsible for Economic and Monetary Affairs. He was the commissioner responsible for Enlargement from 2004 to 2009 and before that the commissioner responsible for enterprise and information society in the Prodi Commission. He was also a member of the Finnish parliament and Vice-President of the Liberal Group in the European Parliament. He has served as economic policy adviser to the Prime Minister of Finland and held a professorship at the Department of Political Science and Centre for European Studies at the University of Helsinki, where he was also the research director. Throughout his political and academic career Mr Rehn has maintained an integral focus on Europe and particularly European integration.
