21st Annual International conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology - ISMB 2013

The annual international conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology is the major meeting of the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB). Since 1993 the ISMB conference has grown to become the world's largest bioinformatics/computational biology conference, and ISMB/ECCB 2013 will be the year's most important computational biology event globally.

ISMB/ECCB 2013 invites accredited media working for scientific news organizations to apply for a complimentary press pass.

The annual ISMB (Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology) conference began 1993 and was the driving force behind the founding of the International Society for Computational Biology in 1997. ISMB has become the largest conference on computational biology worldwide. ISCB continues to see ISMB as its major flagship annual event.

The ISMB conferences provide a multidisciplinary forum for disseminating the latest developments in bioinformatics/computational biology. ISMB/ECCB brings together scientists from computer science, molecular biology, mathematics, statistics and related fields. Its principal focus is on the development and application of advanced computational methods for biological problems. ISMB/ECCB 2013 will offer the strongest scientific program and the broadest scope of any international bioinformatics/computational biology conference in 2013. Building on past successes, the Berlin conference is designed to cater to variety of disciplines within the bioinformatics/computational biology community.

ISMB/ECCB 2013 takes place July 19-23, at the Messe Berlin (ICC Berlin), Germany. For two days preceding the conference, additional opportunities including Satellite Meetings, Junior Principal Investigator Symposium, Student Council Symposium, and a selection of Special Interest Group Meetings and Tutorials are all offered to enable registered participants to learn more on the latest methods and tools within specialty research areas.

MEDIA INVITATION - Complimentary Press Pass

ISMB/ECCB 2013 invites accredited media working for scientific news organizations to apply for a complimentary press pass. This premier event for computational biology will provide members of the media access to three information packed days with a wide range of scientific presentations. In addition, you will have access to hundreds of scientific posters and numerous exhibitors.

Press passes are limited, and are granted only to working journalists who intend to cover the event. To qualify for press credentials, you must be affiliated with an internationally, nationally or regionally recognized media outlet, and hold an editorial title and or hold a position as an industry analyst.
