The »Optical Techniques and Nano-Tools for Material and Life Sciences« - Conference will strengthen relations among members of the applied science sector, i.e., academic institutes, public research centers, and industry representatives. The conference is an international event for:
- Promoting scientific and technical developments
- Revealing trends and directions of investigation
- Attracting investment into the scientific sector for research activities in the areas of industrial manufacturing, system monitoring, biology, and medicine.
Papers addressing innovative solutions in industrial inspection, environmental monitoring, structural health monitoring, artwork and cultural heritage inspection, medical diagnostics, sensor technology, and sensor integration are welcome.
ONT4MLS is organized by:
- Fraunhofer Institute for Nondestructive Testing IZFP, Dresden and Saarbrücken, Germany
- B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics, Minsk, Belarus
- Technische Universität Dresden, Germany
- Yonsei University, Wonju, Korea
The technical program includes invited and peer-reviewed selected papers as well as contributed papers and posters. English will be the official language of the conference.

The conference will take place at Fraunhofer IZFP Dresden (IZFP-D). The IZFP-D is located in the outskirt in the north of Dresden, in an industrial area not far from the airport. It is easy to reach by public transport such as tram or train.
