Neurobiology of Sickness and Social Behavior - ISTA Lecture by Catherine Dulac (Harvard)

What’s behind behavioral changes in sickness and health? Catherine Dulac, renowned molecular biologist and neuroscientist from Harvard University, will explain what unique cues trigger social behavior, the nature and identity of social behavior circuits, how these differ in males and females, and what happens when a mouse catches a cold.

The lecture is designed for the wider public. Dive into the fascinating world of molecular controls in social interactions, stay for snacks and a chat after!

The ISTA Lecture will take place in English and is free and open to everyone. A registration is required.

A reception with food and drinks will be available for all registered guest after the lecture, free of charge.

Free ISTA shuttle buses run from Wien-Heiligenstadt station and back.

An extra shuttle bus will be available from Heiligenstadt at 15:57 – 16:05

The regular shuttle bus will return to Heiligenstadt at 18:29 – 18:59 – 19:29 – 20:29

The shuttle bus is free of charge for all registered guests.

We aim at organising the event according to the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings.
