Why you should join us:
Individual support: Small group, big impact - with a maximum of 5 participants, there is enough room for individual questions, mastering your own challenges and personal discussions with the trainers and other participants.
For beginners and experienced developers: Whether first contact or targeted consolidation - the workshop offers space for different perspectives. You will benefit from structured knowledge and practical applications that both teach the basics and provide new impetus for people who have already delved deeper into the field of radar.
Understandable & practical: Signal processing is complex and we make it tangible. With practical exercises, real measurements and understandable explanations.
Working with the Ti ecosystem: You use professional radar hardware and software and experience the technology live, e.g. in an anechoic chamber with automated motion scenarios.
Accompanied by experts: Our trainers not only know their field and have been conducting research in the area for over 15 years - they also bring the enthusiasm needed to convey complex content in an understandable and exciting way.
What you can expect:
Three intensive days in which theory and practice alternate in a meaningful way.
You will get to know the central components of modern radar signal processing, experiment with real radar data and develop your own evaluations in small teams. You will experience what radar technology can achieve today and what you can do with it.
Day 1 - Radar and Hardware Basics
We start with an introduction to the radar platform of the (TI) ecosystem. You will get to know the IWR6843ISK board and the DCA1000EVM, work with the associated software and carry out initial measurements. Flashing example projects is also part of the course.
» You will familiarize yourself with the hardware and learn the technical basics.
Day 2 - Radar Signal Processing and applications
On the following days, you will delve deeper into the signal processing of modern MIMO FMCW radars. You will work on practical tasks in teams of two, supported by two experienced trainers. A special highlight: measurements in the echo chamber, including moving scenarios with linear motors and a robot - for realistic data and exciting insights into complex applications.
» Put theory into practice - and experience radar in action.
Who is the workshop for?
For developers, engineers and anyone interested in radar technology - with or without previous experience. Register now and glide through the theory and practice of the radar world with us!
Radar is one of the most exciting fields of technology of our time. This workshop will get you ready to go.
