Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, “Models of Lung Disease” has moved into the virtual world, combining pre-recorded presentations with an exciting interactive conference format, hosted on January 21 and 22, 2021.
Target group and topics
In the tradition of this series of seminars, Models of Lung Disease 2021 aims to bring together different stakeholders from industry and academia and to provide a highly interactive platform for exchanging ideas and findings in translational lung research. This special edition will focus on different aspects of SARS-CoV-2: virology, immunology, clinical development, prevention and epidemiology, and development of drugs for COVID-19 patients. In addition to live lectures and pre-recorded poster presentations, this virtual conference will provide ample opportunities for interaction between participants, both in small groups and 1:1 chat rooms.
Posters
Scientific posters are an important constituent of the seminar Models of Lung Disease 2021. A poster prize will be awarded for the best three posters presented during this event. Poster authors are kindly asked to submit an abstract by December 16, 2020, and to carefully read the "Information for poster authors" on our XING Events website for more detailed information. Please note that abstracts can be accepted only if at least one author of the poster has registered for the seminar.
