SENSOR+TEST takes place for the twelfth time in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from May 10-12, 2005. Again this year IVAM, the Microtechnology Network, presents a top-class microtechnology platform at one of the worldwide biggest fairs for sensors and measuring technology. Numerous top companies will introduce their newest developments on the Product Market Microtechnology of IVAM.
Microtechnology is more than ever important for sensor technology: The complete measuring chain is integrated as a microsystem in more and more sensors. In addition, sensors and actuators increasingly incorporate micro-optics, micromechanics and microfluidics.
The companies at IVAM's joint pavilion will show which products and services - ranging from audio microphones to image sensors - are topical in this context. Amongst others, new mass flow sensors providing a very accurate measurement of gas, pressure and fluid flows will be presented.
IVAM also offers visitors a top-class programme of presentations on microtechnology at the Exhibitors Forum in hall 7 on May 12, 2005. Dr. Uwe Kleinkes, Member of IVAM's Management, will give an overview of the microtechnology industry's economic development by showing the results of the IVAM survey. Furthermore, possibilities of founding microtechnology companies will be discussed and exciting insights into different technologies will be provided.
