CALL FOR PAPERS
Papers or posters are invited on any of the topics listed. Authors who are interested should submit an
extended abstract in English not more than two pages incl. tables and pictures preferably by email
to aop4@cutec.de
until September 30, 2005.

The conference will consist of keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations and discussions. The official language of the conference will be English.
MAIN THEMES OF THE CONFERENCE WILL BE:
- Fundamentals and chemical models
Theoretical basics of oxidation technologies incl. wet oxidation, ozonation, catalytic and photolytic
induced oxidation, photocatalysis etc. including physical properties, reaction mechanisms and kinetics,
intermediates and products, basic applications.
- Measurement - analysis - process and quality control
Oxidising and initiating agents such as O3, H2O2, UV, products, intermediates, process monitoring and controlling.
- Reaction engineering
Homogeneous and heterogeneous reactor systems, reactor modelling and results, strategies and
methods for optimisation and comparison.
- Applications
Process design, experience with existing applications, problems, optimisation and costs.
- Process integration
Combination with other operations, i.e. biological processes and integration into production.
- Innovations
New methods, alternatives and outlook.
- Special Topic
Removal of recalcitrant and anthropogenic micropollutants
KEY WORDS

PUBLICATION
All accepted papers and posters will be printed in the conference proceedings. Based on a review by
the Scientific Committee, selected contributions will be published in Water Science and Technology after the conference.
