EY Public Value Award (EYPVA) by EY and HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management focuses on start-ups contributing to the common good
HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and Ernst & Young (EY) announce the second round of EY Public Value Award (EYPVA). After a successful kick-off year 2016 for the new award focusing on start-ups contributing to the common good in a special way, with more than 150 registered start-ups and a successful award ceremony, the EYPVA is ready for registrations from interested start-ups. Entrepreneurs can register online via http://www.eypva.com/teilnehmen. The application phase will end on July 23, 2017.
"Fintec, medical technology or educational start-up: we consistently question all business models on their contribution to the common good. In this way, we bring young companies into the limelight of society and show where and how they make the world (a little) better. What could be more motivating?", Prof. Dr. Timo Meynhardt, holder of the Dr. Arend Oetker Chair for Business Psychology and Leadership at HHL, states.
Markus T. Schweizer, Managing Partner of EY, adds: „The great interest in last year's EY Public Value Award showed that young entrepreneurs proof a special affinity to produce not only purely economic but social value. This is why we wanted to organize the award together with HHL again this year."
As a review to the last EY Public Value Award, a short film has been published to show not only some impressions of the award ceremony, but also statements from both judges and winners of the award. You can watch the movie here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKtgkjGrp1s
