The Economist Ranking: Master of HHL Scores with Salary and Program Quality

    First rank in Germany for graduates' initial salary

    In the global Master in Management Ranking by The Economist, which was issued for the first time, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management stands out with the second largest post-program salary (EUR 60,300/year) as well as the excellent quality of the program. The top ranks in categories such as "Personal development/education experience", the "HHL Spirit" as well as "Facilities and services provided by the school to its students" are also very remarkable.

    Prof. Dr. Henning Zülch, Academic Director of the M.Sc. programs at HHL, comments, "I am very glad that our school was once again recognized. High quality and practical orientation of the M.Sc. programs are very important to us. We recently incorporated the Leipzig Leadership Model into the curriculum to prepare our students for their careers in management, for instance, in top consulting firms, start-ups or industrial companies, in the best possible way."

    The Master in Management Ranking by The Economist, in which HHL achieved 6th place worldwide, includes 40 international business schools. HHL was ranked second within Germany. The ranking uses data from two surveys. One polls the alumni and students of the university. The other one collects information from the schools themselves. The criteria which are considered for the ranking include salary and career data as well as the internationality and structure of the program as well as the potential of the alumni network.

    The Master in Management Program (M.Sc.) at HHL, which is taught entirely in English, was ranked among the top of its kind in Europe according to the latest Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking. The program provides a basis for future management tasks and covers a wide variety of economic topics. Building on a Bachelor's degree in economics, HHL attaches particular importance to teaching soft skills - courses such as Problem Solving & Communication, Negotiation or International Management Competencies represent an inherent part of the training.
