Master students of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management show high satisfaction with their programs in the most recent CHE ranking.
Düsseldorf/Vallendar. In the university ranking for master's degree programs in the field of business administration recently published by CHE (Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung), WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management once again scored above average and secured top positions. The master students showed the highest level of satisfaction with their programs in the categories "general study situation" (1.1), "course offerings" (1.3), "organization of studies" (1.2), "academic relevance" (1.2), and "transition between bachelor and master programs" (1.1), thus ranking WHU well above the average of all universities.
"It is a great pleasure that WHU has achieved such excellent results in the CHE rankings and evaluations for the third time this year. The top grades awarded by our master students in the CHE master’s degree program ranking 2020 show that WHU consistently offers excellent teaching and achieves the highest degree of student satisfaction," comments Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU.
In May, WHU already achieved top results in the CHE University ranking 2020/2021, which reassesses over 30 different areas of study every three years. In September, CHE published a special evaluation as part of the CHE master student survey conducted for the ranking of master’s degree programs 2020. The special evaluation was carried out with regard to the changed conditions of studying and digital teaching during the corona restrictions. Here too, WHU students were highly satisfied with the solutions offered by their business school.
CHE University Ranking
With its university ranking, the Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung (CHE) has been providing prospective students with information and transparency for more than 30 areas of study for over 20 years to help them find the right offer. It is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking world, with more than 300 universities and over 120,000 students being surveyed. In addition to the facts about the study programs, teaching, and research, the ranking takes into account students' assessments of the study conditions at their universities or business schools. In contrast to other German and Anglo-Saxon rankings, it does not yield individual but group rankings distinguishing between a top, middle, and a bottom group.
