The YUFE Student Journey program allows you to study at up to 10 European universities and includes a wide range of courses and other offers. Information events will be held on March 22 and 28, with the application period open from April 4 to 24, 2022.

One such person who has already joined the program is master’s student Hannah Dubbels from the University of Bremen. The psychology student has taken courses at the University of Eastern Finland through YUFE – only online so far because of the pandemic. “It was great to have different online learning experiences there,” she says. YUFE’s study abroad opportunities really appealed to her. “I did my bachelor’s degree at a British distance learning university. The international side of things was so enjoyable.” Of course, Hannah still hopes to study on site at YUFE universities and that should finally be possible in the next round of the YUFE program. Jelle Schuermans from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) got to know the University of Bremen through YUFE and signed up for a language course, among other things. “Through YUFE, I can improve my English and German while getting to know other European universities and students,” he says. “It’s great, the network here offers a lot.”

Who are the 10 YUFE universities and what do they offer?

The Student Journey offers a wide range of more than 400 academic courses across the 10 YUFE universities. These include the University of Bremen, Maastricht University (Netherlands), the University of Antwerp (Belgium), Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain), the University of Eastern Finland, the University of Essex (Great Britain), the University of Rijeka (Croatia), the Tor Vergata University of Rome (Italy), the University of Cyprus, and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland). In addition to academic courses, there is also a diverse range of language courses, tandems, cafes, professional and social skills training, civic engagement activities, physical, virtual, and blended mobility opportunities, international internships, and entrepreneurship support.

Open Days on March 22 and 28
