On 13 June 2022, from 1:30-5:00 pm, Berlin Professional School will host an online info workshop for refugees who want to pursue an MBA or Master's degree. Scholarships are available.
Berlin, 9 June 2022 – The Berlin Professional School (BPS), the institute for professionals at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR Berlin) / Berlin School of Economics and Law, awards up to 3 full scholarships for refugee applicants from Ukraine for each of its Master's programmes (MBA, MPA, MSc), including refugees from other non-safe countries of origin. Applications are open to those who meet the admission requirements for programmes of higher education aimed at professional with adequate work experience.
Prospective students must generally submit their applications by 15 July 2022, in order to commence their studies in the winter semester of 2022/2023. In the full-time international MBA and master's programmes lectures start in September. The part-time programmes start classes on 1 October 2022.
An online information workshop will be held on 13 June 2022 from 1:30-5:00 pm CEST to introduce the Berlin Professional School's MBA and master's programmes in management and public administration. There will be information on how to apply for a study place and for the scholarships offered. Participants will also get the opportunity to ask questions. The event is in English and participation is free of charge. The access link will be provided immediately following the registration.

In the Berlin Professional School (BPS) at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR Berlin) / Berlin School of Economics and Law offers MBA, Master's and Certificate programmes. The entire range of programmes offered by the BPS is geared towards the further education of professionals: You can study full-time or continue your education alongside your job with a distance learning, part-time or dual degree program. Through successful cooperation with partner universities, companies and organizations worldwide, there is an intensive transfer of management knowledge and experience between academic training and the requirements of practice. The BPS trains managers and develops personalities who consciously assume personal, corporate and social responsibility in a global context.
Offers of the HWR Berlin for Refugees (including German Courses)
The HWR Berlin offers free German courses for refugees. There are still free places for the course from July 4 to December 21, 2022, which is aimed at students who have fled from Ukraine and prospective students with previous knowledge of German and leads to level B1.
