Constructor University’s latest summer camp ended on a high note. The immersive experience brought together 31 enthusiastic participants from 13 countries around the world on its campus in Bremen. Over the course of 12 enriching days, the camp fostered a dynamic environment for learning, friendship, and personal growth.
The diverse cohort, aged 15 to 18, arrived at Constructor University from countries spanning the globe, including Albania, China, Cyprus, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Philippines, Romania, Turkey and Uzbekistan. This international convergence of young minds not only reflected the university's commitment to global education but also showcased the power of cultural exchange and collaboration akin to the spirit of the most international university in Europe.
The program's curriculum encompassed three key pillars: Mathematics, Programming classes, and German language instruction. In addition to the lectures, the summer camp team organized campus tours and lab visits, allowing participants to gain insights into the university’s research and campus facilities. The summer camp's program of social events offered participants a unique opportunity to establish meaningful bonds with people from all over the world at barbecues, bonfires and various sports activities. The exploration even extended beyond the campus with exciting excursions to Bremen and Hamburg, highlighted by a boat trip in Hamburg and a visit to the Mercedes-Benz facility.
"Attending Constructor University's summer camp made me realize that I am capable of accomplishing tasks on my own, providing me with a taste of independence. In addition, there were numerous people from all around the world. Spending time with them taught me about their cultural heritage. The environment in Germany differs significantly from that of Georgia, and visiting German cities for the first time was truly fascinating. The classes were also incredibly beneficial, deepening my knowledge. For instance, I had no prior understanding of programming, but now I am no longer hesitant to give it a try. And, naturally, the staff was consistently available to us, always wearing smiles and prepared to make our stay more comfortable," said Nikoloz Idukashvili, a participant from Georgia.

Integral to the success of the summer camp were the dedicated teaching and student assistants, who were drawn from Constructor University's talented pool of students and alumni. Their guidance, mentorship, and support ensured a nurturing learning environment. Looking ahead, Constructor University is excited to announce plans for future summer camps and similar programs, with an expansion of class offerings and fields of study. The institution remains committed to its mission of fostering global citizens who are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and cultural understanding to shape a better future.
